  • Lisa Holloway Tovar Just now was watching the Fox40 Sacramento,Ca. News and once again they thought it was a good idea to spotlight a pit bull that needed adopting from their local shelter...they at least had the courtesy to mention that the dog probably wouldn't be good in a home with toddlers...I am outraged beyond belief. What is going on and how can this kind of propaganda be stopped?

    • DogsBite.org One thing you could do is write the station and let them know how you feel. Search for and include recent local pit bull attacks to let them see the problem for themselves! They won't change right away, but continued letters will send a messge.

  • Fataah Ewe' Thank GOD they advise against pits in homes with small children. Safety of children and other humans and dogs trumps ANY pit getting out of a shelter. BE outraged Lisa. And then look at the incidents. Look at how many renters have heavy duty 6 ft chain link in their back yards. Let's get real Lisa. Don't lie to yourself or anybody else. Propaganda? Whose? Yours?
